Mindset coach using the Sedona Method of Letting Go

My goal is to help your Mind, Body, Health reach their peak potential. My focus is on Integrative Yoga Therapy. With Integrative Yoga Therapy, I do not simply help you realign a foot or lengthen your spine. Instead, I invest the time to understand your specific needs as an individual. I learn more about your specific mindset and health conditions. And then I create a student-centered program for you, with me acting as a facilitator to bring you toward a personal awakening. I help you find your true self and your source of wellness. You will develop a harmonious connection with your body, mind, and spirit.

Over the years I have studied many forms of yoga in order to draw the benefits from each. These include Iyengar, YinYoga, Vini Yoga, Anusara and Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Posture, Surrender, Letting Go, Mindfulness and Meditation. I have integrated the very best features of each style into an integrated whole which will draw out your best. My diverse experience means I can tailor your session based on your individual set of challenges and goals.

I have a wealth of experience in working with students of all backgrounds and physical abilities. I have been teaching Yoga and Mindfulness since 2007 and was certified as a Professional Yoga Therapist in 2010.  Then Certified as a Meditation and Mindfulness teacher/coach.   I founded Alive With Yoga, Florida. I am a practicing yoga therapist and Mindfulness Coach who specializes in orthopedic issues, chronic pain, and stress and anxiety related issues.  More important assisting in changing you Mind-set from Lack to Abundance.

Whatever your level and ability, I will find the ideal way to bring the healing powers of yoga and/or Mindfulness into your world. Yoga and Mindfulness fosters the ability to slow down and stay present. It encourages a mindful state which can lift people emotionally, spiritually, and physically. All of these are critical for building and maintaining good health.

In my own life yoga is one of the greatest gifts I’ve received. It not only enhances health and vitality, but it also brings lasting inner peace, happiness, and wellness. It has always been my intention to provide a setting where it would be easy for everyone to experience Yoga’s life-enhancing benefits regardless of their age, health or situation in life.

I look forward to bringing the healing power of yoga into your world.

I am trained and registered as a Professional Yoga Therapist through Integrative Yoga Therapy Institute. This required many hours of Yoga Therapy training.  (See IAYT.org). Integrative Yoga Therapy

Integrative Yoga Therapy is based on the psychology and philosophy of yoga that embraces all aspects of yoga, including breathing and meditation. It is an in-depth understanding of a health condition as well as the specific needs of an individual. Training is extremely student-centered with the teacher acting as a facilitator who guides the student toward awakening. The goal is for the student to find their true selves and sources of wellness. IYT helps each student develop harmoniously in their body, mind, and spirit.

Hatha Yoga

Cathy chose to study many other forms of yoga over the years, like Iyengar, Yin Yoga, Vini Yoga, Anusara and Meditation, and many more.

A lot of different Yoga Styles are rooted in Hatha Yoga. All these styles aim to balance the mind, the body, and the spirit through the Asanas or poses; however, the emphasis varies. Cathy integrates many forms of Yoga into her classes and now has created the ‘best of the best’ mixture of each style of Yoga. This eclectic yoga concept is unique to Cathy. She believes that teaching this style of yoga provides the best means for a student’s self-discovery.
