In this workshop, you’ll learn basic yoga poses and movements designed to relieve the persistently tight surrounding muscles, creating freedom in these areas. In a therapeutically oriented session, you will learn about the role of posture in healthy aging and how to strengthen the muscle groups that support:
- Proper shoulder alignment and range of motion
- Neck alignment
- Upper back alignment

- What is hyperkyphosis (Dowager’s Hump) and how can we avoid it.
- There are keys to preventing forward head posture and hyperkyphosis.
- Why should you care about it? Consequences?
According to a recent study in the Annals of Internal Medicine, yoga may be the most effective treatment of pain for Upper Back, Neck, Shoulders.
